| Duties of the Security of the University: -Securing the equipments of the university and the subordinate organizations against physical damage and robbery -providing security for the conferences and meetings held in the university and the subordinate organizations -assuring the safety of the documents of the university and those of the subordinate organizations -establishing and administrating confidential security and intelligence offices in the university and the subordinate organizations -issuing ID card for personnel -taking preventive measures in order to avert potential violations of law -providing directors and personnel with counsel regarding their responsibilities -providing the personnel with a secure job environment Values: Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences' Security has set for itself a set of principles or standards of behavior such as: -respecting the values propagated by the Islamic Republic of Iran -respecting the clients regardless of their race, religion, etc. -promoting friend ship between the personnel -improving the quality of the services provided -getting satisfaction from personnel and clients -providing the personnel of the university with job security Responsibilities One of the many responsibilities of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences' Security is to provide security for university personnel and documents as well as creating circumstances under which the plans devised by the university could be carried out as efficient as possible. To do so, the security of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences is trying to improve the quality of the services it provides. Considering the formidable place of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in Iran and its multifaceted (medical, educational,…) structure, the Security of the university does its best to live up to the good name of the university. To do so the Security of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences implores the personnel and the clients to help them in fulfilling its responsibilities and duties in a manner worthy of the name of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences. Perspective Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences is one of the medical, educational, and scientific poles of Iran. Hence, no less is expected from the Security of this university than to be one of the best of its kind as well. So the Security of the university tries to gather and analyze the information needed for decision-making processes and report them faultlessly to the directors of the university. To do so, the Security of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences has decided to: -renovate the security structure of the university -pay special attention education of its staff -have a scientific, organized outlook -eradicate vice and corruption among its staff -gain the trust of the personnel of the university and become a safe ground they can take refuge to in times of trouble and need -making reciprocal relationship with students, personnel, and clients of the university |
